Refund Policy For Perpetual License

Effective date: May 1st 2026

Scope : This Refund Policy applies to purchases of perpetual software licenses sold by Sapphire Softech Solutions LLC d/b/a Computeroids, a company registered in California (Secretary of State, State of California). It covers one-time license payments and any optional paid add-ons or support plans purchased with the license, unless a separate agreement states otherwise.

Cooling-Off Period : You may request a full refund for a qualifying purchase within 30 days of the purchase date (the “Cooling-Off Period”). To be eligible, you must request the refund and cease use of the software; you may be required to uninstall and certify removal of all copies from your systems. Refunds after the Cooling-Off Period are not available except as set forth below.

Eligibility and Limitations

  • Eligible: One-time license purchases made directly through our ordering system within 30 days of purchase, provided the software has not been materially used in a manner inconsistent with evaluation (e.g., substantial commercial deployment where use cannot be revoked).
  • Not eligible: Refunds are generally not provided for purchases made more than 30 days prior, for purchases made through third-party resellers unless the reseller’s policy allows it, for software delivered free of charge, or for fees for services already fully performed (e.g., completed professional services or custom development) unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Reason for refund ~ We may request proof of purchase or confirmation that the software has been uninstalled and deactivated.

Processing and Method of Refund Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 15 business days of approval. Timing for funds to appear may vary according to payment provider or bank.

Chargebacks and Disputes ~ We encourage you to contact us in case of any disputes or refunds, however, if you initiate a chargeback with your payment provider before contacting us, we may suspend or terminate your license and will coordinate with the payment provider or bank's dispute process. We will not be able to process any refund in case chargeback is resolved in your favour. In case it’s resolved in our favour & you still seek refund, it would be subject to approval, you would need to write to us on support@computeroids.com with detailed reason for seeking refund & it would be subject to approval with deductions not limited to, chargeback fee, time software/services were used, hardware cost, if any, etc.

Exceptions and Discretionary Refunds We may, at our sole discretion, provide refunds outside these terms for documented technical issues, regulatory requirements, or other exceptional circumstances. Such discretionary refunds do not create a precedent.

Taxes and Fees Refunds cover the purchase price paid for the license. Non-refundable items may include taxes, fees, hardware costs, or third-party charges as required by law or third-party terms. Amounts refunded may be adjusted to comply with applicable tax rules.

Governing Law and Compliance This policy and any dispute arising from it are governed by the laws of the State of California. Where required by California consumer protection laws or other applicable statutes, those laws will govern and supersede conflicting policy provisions.

Changes to This Policy We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted at our Refund Policy with an updated effective date. Continued use of the software after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Refund Policy monthly subscription

1. Scope
This Refund Policy applies to all subscriptions and purchases of Computeroids's Software-as-a-Service ("SaaS") offerings, including monthly and annual subscription plans, add-ons, upgrades, and one-time professional services, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Trial Periods
If a free trial is offered, no payment shall be collected during the trial period. You will not be charged until the trial period expires.
You may cancel your subscription at any time during the trial period without incurring any charges.

3. Cancellations

  • You may cancel your subscription within thirty (30) days from the date of purchase and shall be entitled to a full refund of the amount paid without any deductions.
  • Subscription cancellation requests may be made through our cancel subscription process or by contacting our support team at support@computeroids.com.
  • Unless a refund is approved under this Policy, cancellations shall take effect at the end of the current paid billing period, and no further charges shall be incurred thereafter.

4. Refund Eligibility

Monthly Subscriptions

  • Customers who cancel their subscription within thirty (30) days of purchase shall be eligible for a full refund.
  • After the expiry of the thirty (30) day period, refunds for monthly subscription charges shall only be granted in cases of:
    • Billing errors;
    • Unauthorized transactions; or
    • Circumstances where a refund is required under applicable law.
  • No partial-period refunds shall be provided after the thirty (30) day refund period.

Annual Subscriptions

  • Customers who cancel an annual subscription within thirty (30) days of purchase shall be entitled to a full refund.
  • Where an annual subscription is renewed, a pro-rated refund for the unused portion of the renewed subscription term may be granted if cancellation is requested within thirty (30) days of the renewal date.
  • No refunds shall ordinarily be provided for cancellations requested more than thirty (30) days after renewal, except in cases of billing errors, unauthorized charges, or where otherwise required by applicable law.

One-Time Purchases and Professional Services
Refunds for one-time purchases, onboarding services, consulting services, implementation services, training services, or other professional services shall be subject to the terms specified at the time of purchase and may be unavailable once the services have been fully rendered or substantially performed.

5. Prorated Refunds and Credits

  • Where a prorated refund is approved, the refund amount shall be calculated based on the unused portion of the applicable subscription period.
  • The Company may, at its sole discretion, offer account credits in lieu of a monetary refund. Any such credits shall expire after 12 months from the date of issuance unless otherwise stated.

6. Billing Errors and Unauthorized Charges

  • If you believe that you have been charged incorrectly or without authorization, you must notify us immediately at support@computeroids.com.
  • Upon investigation, if a billing error or unauthorized transaction is confirmed, we shall reverse the charge or issue an appropriate refund.

7. Chargebacks

  • If you dispute a charge through your bank, credit card issuer, payment processor, or other payment provider without first contacting us to seek resolution, the Company reserves the right to decline, suspend, or otherwise not entertain any subsequent refund request relating to the disputed transaction.
  • The Company further reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the Services pending resolution of any chargeback dispute.

8. Exceptions
Special refund arrangements may be made at the sole discretion of the Company in circumstances including, but not limited to:

  • Documented technical issues preventing reasonable use of the Services;
  • Significant service outages;
  • Duplicate payments;
  • Other exceptional circumstances deemed appropriate by the Company.

The Company reserves the right to deny any refund request that it determines to be fraudulent, abusive, misleading, or otherwise outside the scope of this Policy.

9. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please contact support@computeroids.com and provide:

  • Your registered account email address;
  • Order, invoice, or transaction number;
  • Date of purchase; and
  • Reason for the refund request.

We may require additional information or documentation to verify and process your request.

10. Processing Time

  • Approved refunds shall be processed within fifteen (15) business days from the date of approval and shall be credited to the original payment method used for the purchase.
  • Actual receipt of funds may vary depending on the policies and processing timelines of your bank, card issuer, or payment service provider.

11. Changes to this Policy

  • We reserve the right to amend or modify this Refund Policy at any time.
  • Any changes shall be posted on our Refund Policy together with an updated effective date. Where material changes are made, active customers may be notified through email or other reasonable means.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

  • This Refund Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California.
  • Any dispute arising out of or relating to this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located at California, except where otherwise required by applicable consumer protection laws.
